Pungency was the name of the game here, and whether it was wrapped in a bag or not, this sample stood out. Before it’s even ground up, the dank rubber-fuel-skunk front notes have a background of spice and citrus, resulting for an almost overwhelming smell combination. The post-grind aroma reminded me of the Sour Diesel, but with a stronger citrus kick and an almost floral character once it settled. This is one of those strains that is a matter of personal taste – most of our team enjoyed it, but it had a tough aroma, as do most Chem and Diesel strains.

The pungent aroma carried over to the flavor, which was Chem-dominant with a lemony finish inspired by Sour Diesel. The inhale was very spicy, with overtones of rubber, skunk, and chemical cleaner; the exhale had an almost anise-like flavor on the lips and a fuely aroma in the nostrils. Again, this entire family of strains is an acquired taste, but Chem and Diesel fans will undoubtedly enjoy the flavor of this sample.

Although the consequences of this strain were noticed immediately, with a rise in face/eye/head pressure, temperature, and heart rate, we all felt that it was at its peak between 30 minutes and 1 hour into the encounter. The time of day seems to influence the results of the reviews, as the reviewer who tested the strain at night noticed it shift gears at the 1 hour mark to a meditative calm, but the daytime reviewers experienced a sustained rise in energy, mood, and physical activity.
